Our Wellness Services
WisdomWell offers acupuncture, bodywork (massage and more), individual, couples and family coaching and wellness consulting. Delivered by expert practitioners with exceptional skills and gifts, these services are effective tools and powerful pathways for creating and sustaining individual, family and community wellness.
Acupuncture is one of the world’s oldest continuously practiced health systems, dating back as many as 5,000 years. Today millions of people in the US – adults and children alike – receive acupuncture treatments each year to ease pain and address both acute and chronic physical, emotional and psychological conditions. With relatively few if any side effects, acupuncture is used to restore balance and promote the body-mind-spirit’s tremendous natural healing capacity.
Herbalism and Nutrition
Foods and herbs have been used for thousands of years to support and maintain balance and harmony in the body and promote the body’s innate capacity for healing and self-repair. Because every person is unique, recommendations for herbs, diet and other healthy habits are specially tailored for each individual. We can help you and your family shop wiser, snack smarter, and expand your repertoire of recipes and meals in a way that suits your lifestyle, tastes and pocketbook. In creating herbal formulations and recommendations to meet your needs, we will consider your unique constitution, as well as your particular health issue and the energetics of various plants.
Bodywork Massage and more
WisdomWell currently offers two types of bodywork services: massage and Zero Balancing. Massage is a form of therapeutic touch that involves the manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues, whereas Zero Balancing engages both structure and energy to bring about healing and enhance wellness.
Craniosacral therapy uses gentle touch to release tensions in the body, allowing the central nervous system – the control center of the body – to perform at its best. Craniosacral therapy can relieve pain, improve body movement, and address a wide range of dysfunctions and also can be used to develop greater wellness and vitality. Because craniosacral therapy is so gentle and non-invasive, it is well-suited for infants, children, and the elderly.
